Please tell me it's true!
Is it really Friday?! I am in need of a weekend. With the kiddos sick, there wasn't any school accomplished this week, but it sure feels like I have been ran over by a school bus. I am in a better mood this morning, but I'm not feeling the best. I'm not getting sick... I'm not getting sick... I'm not getting sick. Maybe if I keep chanting that, it will come true. Mike went back to work this morning to work 4am to 4pm. He called around 9am to check on me and said he has a headache that he can't get rid of. I do miss him already, even though he and the kids were driving me nuts throughout the week. You know Mike is a big kid, so you can just imagine all the "fun" he has going on around here when he is home. Lukey woke up calling his daddy. He has been walking around the house looking for him all morning.
The kids really have been good while they were sick. To help entertain them one day, I baked cupcakes and let them decorate them. Yes, I know... add sugar to a kid's system that is already climbing the walls because they have been shut up in the house for several days. They had fun and that is all that matters. Of course, no one was dressed the best, but hope you enjoy the pics.

I'm sooo not in the mood....
I know I haven't posted in the past week, but I'm really not in the mood to post now. Mike goes back to work tomorrow... leaving at 2am. I haven't slept much in days b/c it is just too hard to get comfy. By the time I do get comfy, it is time for ANOTHER trip to bathroom. I swear my bladder is the size of a thimble at this point. I'm tired, but I can't sleep when I do go to bed.
Everyone is well now, and I hope it stays that way. The sickness as really thrown a kink in our schooling. grrrrrr! I didn't have time for this interruption. I have 5 1/2 weeks until little Jonathan is born, and we need to have as much schooling done as possible. You never know what can happen when adding another blessing to the family. **sighs** Oh well, God knows what He is doing even if I don't understand it.
I pray this finds all well. Love ya bunches!

A nice surprise!
Last night before I could go to bed, Luke woke up crying. I let him fuss for a few minutes. I didn't want him to wake up Mike, so I got him. I ended up sleeping on my side on the couch w/ him draped on my side until 12:30am. Needless to say, I was hurting by the time I got to get in bed. Luke was restless the rest of the night. I could tell he wasn't feeling well. When I got up this morning, JJ was running a low grade temp. He woke up and went straight to the couch to go back to sleep. After staying there for about an hour, he put himself back to bed. We didn't hear anything out of him again until after 2pm. Emi has a low grade temp. Now, Luke's temp is hanging out around 100*, JJ's around 102*. I'm thinking that Julie sent her cooties to my house.
Even though my day hasn't been the best, I had a pleasant surprise midday. Andrew had checked the mail several times today, but there wasn't anything in the mailbox. He knew we were suppose to get a movie from Netflix, so he decided to check inside the van to see if the mail was there. When we have a package that is too big for the mailbox, our mailman will put everything in the van or Mike's car. I knew I hadn't ordered anything and Mike hadn't mentioned ordering anything, so I was surprised to see Andrew carrying in a package. It was addressed to me with no return address. Inside there was a piece of paper w/ For Jonathan printed on it. There was the cutest little plush, musical seahorse in it. You squeeze it and it's tummy lights up and plays music for 5 minutes, I think. Bekah feel in LOVE with it. There were also two swaddling wraps. Those things are wonderful. I have one, but had planned to buy one or two more so I would have spares when the other was in the wash. I have no clue who sent the package, but if you are reading this, thank you so much. Of course, I had a few tears b/c of someone's anonomous thoughtfulness. You are a true gem! It was a bright spot in a gloomy day. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Well, I have to get up from here and start getting my little germies to bed. They are cranky, and I need a break. Love ya bunches!

Emily cheered for the Midget league. She was so excited to be back out there cheering. She thought she was IT in her cheerleading outfit.
Andrew is an assistant coach for the Midget league. He is enjoying it. I'm so happy to have a teenager that is willing to serve in this capacity. He was disappointed that there weren't enough players to have his league but is enjoying coaching.
Hope you enjoy the slideshow! Love ya bunches!

A few happenings....

Mike and Andrew finished up the girls' closet Monday afternoon. YAY! Now I have to just get my bootie in gear to get all the clothes back in there like I want them. Then the next project is the finish painting the bedroom. I am so proud of the guys. They do such a wonderful job on their projects. I am thankful that I have a sweet hubby who takes the time to teach his sons how to work w/ their hands.
Tuesday morning, I got up w/ Mike and left when he left at 5:30am. I had to go to Wally World to get groceries. It was the only time I could spare for that amount of time. It was nice to not have to wait in a LONG line to check out, or have people bumping into me while I'm trying to shop. I would have preferred to sleep, but it is nice to know the shopping is done.
Wednesday morning, I got out a wooden train set that had been sitting in my gift closet for a couple years. I bought several of them after Christmas one year and paid almost nothing for them. Everytime we go into Books-A-Million or Barnes & Noble, the little ones go straight for the train set. I thought about the one we had at home but kept forgetting to get it out for them. I needed a few minutes w/ the older kids, so I decided the train set would be the perfect distraction for the little Hillians. Ahhh.... an hour! I finally did have to put it away b/c they were arguing, but it was good while it lasted. The pics we snapped aren't the best quality, but you get the idea.
This morning was haircut time for the girls. As much as I want my hair cut, I didn't dare get in the chair. I know that if I let them start cutting, I won't let them stop until it is in a cute short cut. I want to keep it longer until after Jonathan is born. I want to be able to pull it back in a ponytail while I'm in the hospital and not have to worry about how my hair looks when visitors come. I know Lissa and Julie will be there w/ cameras, so I can't have my hair standing up all over the place. Mike is wanting my hair short again, because he is sick of it being in his face at night. If he rolls over to snuggle up behind me, he always tucks my hair under his pillow. LOL
Well, I have to go check the veggie soup in the slow cooker. Yes, I'm making veggie soup. I have been craving it for weeks, and I am finally making it. I know it is still warm outside, but it is cool inside. The kids aren't complaining about my decision. They have been wanting soup just as long as I have.
Love ya bunches!

We started the day w/ Bekah crawling in our bed around 3:30am. My back has been killing me for a couple days now, so I wasn't getting a good night sleep anyway. We had decided to go to church in the 'Boro w/ my parents today, since Mama's birthday is the 14th. She is leaving the 12th or 13th, to go to Houston to stay w/ Aunt Lisa for two weeks. During breakfast, Bekah wasn't really interested in eating, but we made her eat b/c we know how she gets carsick. We pulled into the parking lot of the church, and she started vomitting. Even though we were able to catch most of it in the trashcan, she soaked her dress. GROSS!!! We didn't even get out. I stripped her down and let her cover up w/ a blanket. She dozed off and on all the way home. As soon as we got home, Laura gave her a bath for me.
She got to feeling better around 1pm, so she talked Laura into dragging out the Easy Bake oven from the closet. They made a cake, and she was very proud of herself. She told Laura, "I can have a big piece, but you can have a small piece." She did end of sharing that itty bitty cake w/ everyone in the house. Bekah must have thought the job was going to be explosive b/c she put on her goggles. LOL
I took a LONG nap mid-afternoon. I feel a little rested, but my back is still killing me. I have no clue what I have done, unless it was the painting I accomplished Friday night and Saturday afternoon. Mike says we are going to make a late night run to Walmart to do the grocery shopping. :o( I don't know that I will make it for a late night.
I have been wanting something chocolate for a while. I finally figured out that it was fudge that I had been craving. Laura asked if she could make it this time, so I let her. I have to say that she done an excellent job. The little ones were excited to have it, b/c I never make it just for us. JJ ate so much that he looks a little "green around the gills."
Well, I'm off to find something to eat. Everyone else ate fish sticks and filets... YUCK! Enjoy the pics. Love ya bunches!

Another week almost over
The weeks are flying by quickly, and I'm not complaining. I have 2 months until I'm holding my little one. Lissa, I'm holding him first!! I think I deserve that much since I'm the one dealing w/ the kicks, punches, and heartburn.
We have completed another week of school. Andrew loved his lab day w/ Mike. His Bunsen burner is on its way, so he is excited about the high heat they get to use.
Luke has learned out to pop the baby latch on the kitchen cabinets. He holds onto the straps and pulls on them until it pops open. Should I be worried that he is doing this at 14 1/2 months?! He is walking around calling for his daddy, but Mike is working. Andrew's not here either to play rough with him. It is Andrew's week to spend w/ my parents. He is going to the GSU game w/ my little sister Sarah this evening.
Mike and Andrew fixed the mower late yesterday afternoon. Mike was hoping to knock a few items off of his "honey do" list this weekend, but he had to go to work today. I'm hoping that Monday will be a work day around here... if I can keep him off of Mafia Wars. LOL He does enjoy the game like I enjoy my blog, so I'm not going to complain.
I'm going to be productive now. I want to put the last coat of paint on the closet, so Mike can finish his part of the project. I pray this finds each of you have a wonderfully blessed weekend. Love ya bunches!

First lab day of the new school year
Mike and Andrew had their first lab day in Physical Science. As you can tell, they were both "very excited." LOL Actually, I think they were excited, b/c they got to play w/ their new alcohol burners. After a few pics, Andrew was threatening to set my camera on fire.
My computer has been taken over by my dear hubby. One of his friends has introduced him to Mafia Wars, so I can pretty much kiss my Facebook page and computer time goodbye. I will try to get on to update my blog as much as possible (like now when he is sleeping). Our new school year takes up a lot of my time as well.
The pregnancy is continuing to progress on schedule. Only 9 weeks from today and I will be holding our newest little one. YAY! The kids are getting just as excited as I am. Mike has started rubbing my stomach just to wake Jonathan, then he rolls over to go to sleep. That isn't very nice!
